There’s something about doing research in New York City. The combination of the people, energy, and diversity of perspectives is hard to find anywhere else. For decades, New York has been an important market for qualitative research, and Fieldwork has been proud to be part of it.
In fall of 2026, we’re opening the doors to an entirely new Fieldwork New York City. And we’re building it with you in mind.
Five Rooms Designed to Do More
Located on Avenue of the Americas in the heart of Manhattan, our new facility will be easy to access for clients and participants alike. It will also be the largest research space in Manhattan, giving us more room to support the many different ways our clients conduct research.
The new space will include five research rooms, giving our team the flexibility to support everything from traditional qualitative studies to projects requiring specialized or larger environments.
One room will serve as a dedicated medical simulation center, creating a realistic environment for medical device, healthcare, human factors, usability, and simulated-use research.
Another feature is a movable wall that allows two rooms to be combined into one significantly larger research space. This gives clients the option to expand when a project calls for more room, making it especially valuable for jury research, large groups, workshops, mock environments, and other studies that simply need more space.
The result is a facility that can be configured around the research rather than requiring the research to fit the facility.

More Space Means More Possibilities
While focus groups remain an important part of what we do, today's research can take many different forms. Our new Manhattan facility has been designed with that in mind.
Fieldwork New York City will be able to support:
- Focus groups and in-depth interviews
- Jury and legal research
- Medical device and human factors research
- Healthcare research and simulated-use studies
- UX and usability testing
- Product testing
- Sensory and consumer research
- Mock retail and shopping environments
- Workshops and co-creation sessions
- Large-format and multi-room studies
- Hybrid research
- Client meetings and collaborative working sessions
- Custom study configurations for projects that require something different
Designed Around the Entire Research Experience
The physical space is only one part of a successful research project.
Our new facility is being designed around the experience of everyone who walks through its doors. Participants should feel comfortable and welcomed, while clients need spaces where they can observe, work, collaborate, and spend a full research day comfortably.
Behind the scenes, our Fieldwork team will continue to provide experienced recruiting, project management, participant verification, technology support, and hospitality that help keep projects moving from start to finish.
The new facility simply gives us more room to do it.

A Bigger Home for Research in New York City
We believe there is tremendous value in bringing researchers and participants together in the same room.
In-person research allows teams to watch someone interact with a product, recreate real-world environments, observe behaviors as they happen, and notice the small human moments that can be difficult to capture anywhere else.
Our new Fieldwork New York City facility is being built to make more of those moments possible.
Whether you need a room for eight people, a medical simulation environment, space for a jury, multiple rooms for a complex study, or a configuration we haven't thought of yet, we want to help make it happen.
Fieldwork New York City is coming this fall to Avenue of the Americas. We can't wait to welcome you.
